The property on which The Coffee Cup is located dates back to 1823 when much of the area now known as Perry, Georgia was being converted from Indian Territory into a settlement. Many businesses have occupied this building over the years. Starting in the 1850’s it was a drug store as it remained for many years. It has served as a doctor’s office, The Houston County Library and during World War II as the local draft board.

The original Coffee Cup Restaurant existed here from the late 1950’s through the 1970’s. In the mid 2000’s a fire damaged much of the building. The beautiful ceramic tile mosaic floors, the brick walls, and the first and second floor frames are still original.

An experience like none other. Offering picturesque views of historic downtown Perry, no visit to Georgia is complete without a visit to The Coffee Cup on Carroll. Conveniently located at 900 Carroll Street, only 1.3 miles from Interstate 75.
